I’m an interdisciplinary writer and practice-based researcher based in North Tyneside in the North East of England.
I graduated from the Writing Poetry MA at Newcastle University in 2020 and completed my PhD at Northumbria University in 2026. Straddling film studies and poetry practice, my doctoral research engages with the affective and ideological dimensions of woman-led narratives in British horror cinema of the new millennium.
My debut poetry book, The Second Dream, is an intertextual exploration of Jonathan Glazer’s 2013 sci-fi/horror film Under the Skin (2013). It was published by Steel Incisors in March 2024 on the tenth anniversary of the film’s UK theatrical release. In June 2025 it was nominated for the SFPA’s Elgin Awards for sci-fi poetry.
I have been performing at live events in the UK and beyond since 2019, and my creative work appears in various places online and in print, including Psycho Holosuite, Tentacular, and eYeland Zine.
